1. Shadrack WILLIAMSON was born 1815 or 1820 in Lawrence Co., KY., he died 19 May 1859 in Catlettsburg, Boyd Co., KY. His death record says, died of Lung fever, and it lists his parents as Alden & Mary Williamson. He is buried in an unknown cemetery.

He married Sarah Ann WEST, 18 March 1839 in Lawrence Co., KY. Her first name is shown as Miss Sally West on their marriage record. She was born 1821 in VA., and died 25 December 1895 in Woodson Co., KS. She is buried at the Little Sandy Cemetery, Wilson Co., KS. Sarah's gravestone reads "Aged 74 Years". In the census of 1895 Woodson Co., KS., Belmont township, Sarah was living with her son Abisha & family, she is listed as blind.

                i. Amos, born 1840 in KY. died 08 Apr 1904 in Kansas
               ii. Jasper, born 19 Feb 1842 in KY. died 03 Jul 1909 in Kansas
              iii. Asa, born Oct 1845 in KY. died after 1910, probably in Inez, Martin County Kentucky
              iv. Abisha, born 12 Mar 1847 in KY. died 22 Jun 1924 in Kansas
               v. Joseph, born 30 Jun 1848 in KY. died 11 Oct 1900 in Kansas see obituary.
              vi. Mary Jane, born Jan 1857 in KY. died, probably in Arkansas. She married Jan. 01, 1874 to Hiram Brewer. He was born Aug. 1852 in West Virginia. They moved to Baxter County Arkansas after 1881. Mary had 10 children.

2 ii. Jasper WILLIAMSON (Shadrack¹) was born 19 Feb. 1842 in Johnson Co., KY., he died 03 Jul. 1909 in Woodson Co., KS. He is buried at the Little Sandy Cemetery, Wilson Co., KS.

He married Naomy CRUM, 15 January 1863 in Lawrence Co., KY. She was born 1844-1846 in Wayne Co., VA., now WV. and died 17 Feb. 1897 according to her gravestone, or Nov. 18, 1897 according to her death record. She died in Woodson Co., KS. She is buried next to her husband Jasper at the Little Sandy Cemetery, Wilson Co., KS. Unfortunately her death record at Yates Center, Woodson Co., KS. Courthouse does not show her parents names.

Children of Jasper WILLIAMSON & Naomy CRUM are:

                i. Marion, born 1862 or 1864 in KY. died 1933 in KS.
               ii. Melvin, born abt. 1866 in KY. died Sept. 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
                    Death source: Buffalo Blade Newspaper pub. Sept. 16, 1932 - Mel Williamson, a former resident (of Buffalo, KS.) died in Tulsa, OK. Wednesday. He was a filling station operator and was shot by a holdup.
              iii. Sarah Ann, born 1867 in KY. died 1952 in Middletown, Wilson Co., KS.
              iv. Isabelle, born 10 Feb 1870 in KY. died 03 May 1926 in KS.
               v. Laura Ellen, born 21 Jul 1871, in KY. died 17 Jun 1956 in Fairland, Ottawa Co., OK.
              vi. Julius J., born 15 Nov 1875 in KY. died 09 Feb 1939 in Neosho, Newton Co., MO.
             vii. Scot, born abt. 1876 in KY. died ?

3 vi. Julius J. WILLIAMSON (Shadrack¹, Jasper²) was born 15 Nov. 1875 in Martin Co., KY. he died 09 Feb. 1939 in Neosho, Newton Co., MO. He is buried at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Newton Co., MO.

He married Leah Leone HAWKINS, 19 Dec. 1899 in Chandler Lincoln Co., OK. She was born 29 Nov. 1880 in Redfield, Bourbon Co., KS. and died 21 Nov. 1965 in Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS. Daughter of John R. HAWKINS & Mary Jane Schallonberger Click for Hawkins family page. She is buried next to her husband Julius at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Newton Co., MO.

                i. Oran Kenneth, born 18 Nov 1900 in Buffalo, Wilson Co., KS. died 26 Sept 1965 in Oklahoma City OK.

4 i. Oran Kenneth WILLIAMSON (Shadrack¹, Jasper², Julius³) was born 18 Nov. 1900 in Buffalo, Wilson Co., KS. he died 26 Sept. 1965 in Oklahoma City, OK. He is buried at Fredonia City, Cemetery, Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS.

He married 1st Helen Irene GRAY, 18 Aug 1919 in Independence, KS. She was born 26 Aug 1900 in KS. and died 17 Nov 1928 in Neodesha, KS. hospital. Daughter of George Washington GRAY & Gertrude May GRAY. Click for Gray family tree. Helen died after surgery. Her death certificate shows cause of death was pelvic and abdominal abscess. She is buried at Fredonia City, Cemetery, Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS.

5 iv. Kenneth Mahlon WILLIAMSON (Shadrack¹, Jasper², Julius³, Oran4) was born 30 Oct. 1924 in Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS. he died 15 Jan. 1996 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS. He is buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS. His cause of death was emphysema.

He married & his wife is living, they had three children ( I'm one of them :) and four grandchildren.
