The Hawkins Family

The 1880 KS census lists John R. Hawkins, & his father & mother as born in NC.  I have found John & family in the 1860 census of Peoria Co. IL. again listing John & parents born in NC.  If you have come across this family in any of your searches I would appreciate hearing about anything you've found.
Thank you, Connie
